ANVITA held its first training session on 23 November 2021 in Lyon. It took place at Cédis, an approved training centre for local elected officials.

This first session, entitled "Conducting a hospitality policy for migrants", was offered to about fifteen elected officials and departmental and regional agents.

 The operational objectives of this training are:

  • The appropriation of the institutional and legal framework for the reception of migrants in France in 2021;

  • Identification of the levers of action for local authorities;

  • Discovery of the relevant hospitality mechanisms to respond to specific territorial issues

Thus, this session was structured around two parts:

  • The session first focused on the migratory journey, the definition of terms and the putting into perspective of the information related to the asylum procedure;

  • The participants identified collectively the different competences of the communities that can be mobilized to carry out territorial hospitality projects in France.

ANVITA is currently finalising its training catalogue, in collaboration with Le Group.
