Exchange time - Access to legal work for exiled persons
On May 20, the second ANVITA exchange took place, dedicated to access to legal work for exiled persons and OACAS status.
Alongside the coordination of ANVITA, three other partner organizations provided a framework for these spaces of exchange and joint reflection: JRS France (Jesuit Refugee Service), the Fédération de l'Entraide Protestante and Emmaüs France.
The meeting addressed three main themes:
- Possible actions to make access to legal work for asylum seekers and refugees effective;
- Access to legal work for undocumented migrants;
- The OACAS status (organization of community reception and solidarity activities).
Elected officials and technicians of the following local authorities took part in the exchanges: Alfortville, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region (opposition), Bordeaux, Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, Clermont-Ferrand, Echirolles, Grenoble, Le Relecq-Kerhuon, Lyon, Louvigny, Martigues, Melle, Montpellier, Nantes, Ouistreham (opposition), Paris, Poitiers, Rouen, Saint-Denis, Schiltigheim, Strasbourg, Tours, Villeurbanne and Vezelay (former elected official) .
